Mystic

Imagine this if you can……

Imagine growing into your senior years with no one. No basic care. Not even basic things like food or water. No love.

Imagine your body being so deprived you can barely lift your head. Your chest so full of fluid and heartworm each breath feels like a struggle. Your body so neglected, each rib stands out, masses form and go uncared for.

Imagine this is the life you know, you live. Can you imagine it?

For this poor senior girl, this has become her life. This is what she knows. This is what her humans allowed. So much neglect, so much struggle.

And yet in true dog form, she remains sweet. Trusts the human touch. Though she struggles she now knows that not all humans are uncaring, unfeeling, unloving.

Meet our new senior girl who we have named Mystic.  We are rushing her to the ER right now to help get her some relief and supportive care. She will without a doubt be admitted to the ER for immediate lifesaving treatment.  We will post updates as soon as we get her settled and stable.

If you’d like to help any donations will be greatly appreciate to help save this little baby……..

Left alone to die

Ms. Lily

Ms. Lily

We got a check in from Ms. Lily’s new dad last week. We love getting contacted to hear how great of a match our babies are! He just adores her and she has been doing wonderful. She had no issues with her first heartworm treatment and we need to schedule her last two injections so she can finish up.

We have a lot of vetting going on and we can’t schedule her next appointment until we get the vetting fundraiser covered. Please consider helping today!

{Pupdate} Dipper is Back. Sadness.

Our Big Dipper is coming back to the rescue tomorrow. Sadly, his new housemate, a shihtzu, has not adjusted well to him being in the home and she is so afraid of him she is secluding herself. He isn’t doing anything, but if he even looks in her direction she stresses. Dipper has done well respecting her space but her anxiety levels are so high it is heartbreaking.

After talking with Dipper’s adopter today we are both in agreement that a new addition to the family at this time is just too much for her to handle after being the only dog for so long. This is for the best for Lola. We will check in and make sure that she is okay and readjusting after Dipper is removed.
